Suzhou is located in eastern China, about 100 km west of Shanghai. A high-speed train from Shanghai gets you there in just 25 minutes. The city has a history of over 2,500 years and is famous for its canals, bridges, silk, and gardens.

Summers can be hot and humid with mosquitoes, while winters are chilly but relatively dry. Bring layers accordingly.

With over 2,500 years of history, it features a leaning pagoda often called “China’s Pisa Tower.”
